Episode 9: Final three-way

Better late than never, right? The crumbs have been busy, turning 40, doing the splits in Bali, and working themselves into the ground. So in a SURPRISE bonus episode, we were lucky enough to catch up with Brooke, Jono and Victoria to talk all things GKBO. The love was real.

Episode 8: There’s your cake stand!

It's time to bequeath this season's winner with the coveted cake stand - the grand finale of GKBO is here! We talk to fashion correspondent Tom about red (p)leather and which Britney Spears video it's evoking, we go slightly insane that there's another cake technical challenge, and we're hypnotised by Jono's isomalt eyes 👁👁

Episode 7: You get a cake, you get a cake, you all get a cake!

It's "Chocolate Week" on The Great Kiwi Bake Off, even though it felt like cake week 2.0! The Bakers have already started their post show influencer work with one of the Crumbs succumbing to the croc trend. Chocolate Ganache caused headaches for pretty much everyone in the barn and Courtnay’s very vanilla limits are pushed when she had to use Miso in baking!

Episode 6: It’s all gone to crepe!

It's French...sorry, it's International Week on The Great Kiwi Bake Off and Hamish took the task literally, flying to the USA. Jonathan attempted to bring the international flair with some Dosa and was immediately shut down. Tom tells us all about his 8 inch…..cake layers and a colourful Paris Brest spelt disaster for our second favourite ginger-haired bake off contestant!

Episode 5: Hu-stay, Hu-go?

It’s Kiwi Bakery week but the theme should have been ‘hide and seek’. Lucas hid a hashbrown in a pie, Peter Gordon hid the overwhelming power of seawater in a custard slice and Jonathan hid a sponge in his fruit tart. What a wild ride.

Episode 4: And That’s How the KeeHee Crumbles

This week we argue over which cheesecake reigns supreme: set or baked, say goodbye to one of the sparkliest bakers in the barn, and generally just fanny about. 

Episode 3: The Wheels are Coming Off

Far out, dude - we travel back in time for "Retro Week" in which the bakers explored time periods stretching way back to the 1700s. This week we get into discussing whether Jordan has a second job at Turner's Car Auction, arguing about whether pears are yum or just textured water and really get into the details of International Buttercreams. 

Episode 2: Size does matter!

Perfectly measured shortbread slabs, hand-painted biscuit eggs, bizarrely complicated Italian biscuits...Biscuit Week on The Great Kiwi Bake Off really had it all. Courtnay, Hamish and Tom get together to talk feeling bitter about seemingly easy challenges (again) and answer the age-old question...does size matter?
